Our mother earth is sick. She is seriously sick. She suffers from high fever and shows no symptoms of subsiding. This is all because of the humans activities. Because of this, many side effects are caused. For example, our mother earth suffer from respiratory problems because of the smoke emitted from factories and vehicles. As a result, she throws her temper on us as a warning. This is why natural disaster is getting more and more severe and unpredictable.
Therefore, many worldwide organisations has held various activities to 'cure' our mother earth, such as the World Climate Conference carried out by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).
Although I can't contribute much on these activities, I am very conscious about this matter, because we, humans, residents of the earth have the responsibility to protect our environment. Hence, I pledge I will give in all my efforts to protect our mother earth.
The first thing I'll do is to reduce the usage of non-biodegradable products such as plastic bags and polystyrene lunch box. Next, I'll also try my very best to reduce the usage of electricity in order to save our natural resources and reduce the emission of greenhouse gases. Then, I'll also try not to use air-conditoner to reduce the usage of chlorofluorocarbon (CFC).
I hope by doing this, our mother earth will get well soon.
